Animal-Care

For our program, Pasture-Raised, Grass-Finished Beef is defined as cattle that are raised on pasture from birth prior to weaning, where they graze on open grasslands and are allowed natural movement and access to forage.

Following weaning, cattle enter a finishing phase during which they are fed a nutrient-rich, grass-based diet for a minimum of the final 100 days prior to harvest. Finishing is conducted using grasses and grass-derived forages, with cattle managed in paddock or pen environments as needed to ensure consistent nutrition, animal safety, and welfare during seasonal or adverse weather conditions we experience in Nebraska.

This definition reflects our long-standing production practices and accurately describes how our cattle are raised and finished while maintaining animal health, welfare, and product quality within the climatic and environmental realities of Nebraska.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword for us; it's a way of life. We are dedicated to maintaining the health of the land and the ecosystem while raising our cattle. Our sustainable practices include responsible land management, water conservation, and a commitment to reducing our environmental footprint.
